So, what about Sarah Palin?

Great speech! I think she did a very nice job of introducing herself to the country. I also think she did a nice job of taking a lot of shots at Barak Obama.

That being said.....can we please hear a speech from a politician who argues polocy differences and does not just take shots at the competition. I want to hear the candidates debate the issues and why they feel they plan is better than the other candidates plan. The only thing we hear about is the dirty laundry of both McCain and Obama.

Now, back to Palin. I think she is an excellent speaker. I think she has a lot going for her. However, I don't think she is a good candidate for Vice President. A cabinet position? Sure. I am very cautious of Obama because of his lack of experience leading. Palin does have some experience in leadership, but not much.

I would have liked to have seen McCain choose Romney as his running mate because I do think Romney would be ready to step in as President if something were to happen to McCain. I also think Romney is strong on economic policy and would be a great compliment to McCain since McCain is strong on foreign policy but not so strong on economics.

The last thing on this topic. I personally do not think Sarah Palin's speaking ability and charisma are going to be enough to get into the White House. I think the Republicans have done too much damage to their relationship with the independent voters to win this election.

That's pretty funny since it appears that Obama's speaking ability and charisma are going to be what gets him into the White House.

It will be interesting when we get to hear these folks debate (hopefully we will get more info on these VP candidates).
