All about names

We don’t even know if we are having a boy or a girl, but we sure talk about names a lot. We have some names we both like, some names just one likes, and some names no one likes. Our list of girl names is not really long, but I like a lot of the names. Lets see, we like Abigail (Abby), Emily, Lindsay, Olivia, Hannah (I like this one, Jennifer does not) and we used to like to name Savannah – thanks to Charley that name is off the list. We have a longer list of boy names. We have Jackson (I like this one, Jennifer is thinks it is ok), Jacob, Caleb, Grant, Tyler, Grady (Jennifer like this one, I think it is ok), Matthew, Max (Jennifer thinks this one is cute), plus a few others that we have kicked around.

So, we have a lot of names we are thinking of, but Jennifer has it set in stone that if it is a girl the middle name will be Susan and for a boy it will more than likely be Michael. At this point, I just want to know what we are having. We have about 7-8 weeks before we find out. Each week will seem like forever. I think my mom is as excited to find out as we are. I know Jennifer’s mom is excited, but she already has 1 girl and 1 boy as grandkids. My mom has neither, so she is very anxious to find out which will be first.

I am not sure what my Dad wants us to have. I am sure he is like everyone else and thinks that either will be great as long as he/she is healthy. I think my dad would like a boy so he can watch him grow up and play sports, but I also think my dad wants it to be a girl so he can be wrapped around her finger as soon she is born! Either way, everyone just wants us to hurry up and find out!!
