So..........

So, not much is new in the Anderson world. Well, not much for me anyways. Jennifer said she started to feel the baby kick yesterday, which of course is pretty cool. At this point, we are counting down the days before we get to find out of the baby is a boy or girl. We are going for the 3d ultrasound on May 13. Of course, I am want to have a list of names narrowed down so that when we find out if it is a boy or girl (I am convinced its a girl) we can just drop one list of names and only have a few to choose from. If it is a girl, I think the list is pretty much narrowed to do Emily, Abigail, Lindsay and Grace. There are several other names I like, but those are the only names that we both really like together. As far as boy names go, we have not really narrowed it down much. If I were to make a bet on a boy name, I would probably bet on either Caleb, Grady, Grant or Joseph David. Of the girl names, I would probably rank them Emily, Lindsay, Abigail, and then Grace, but if you ask me tomorrow I may say that I would rank them Grace, Abigail, Emily, Lindsay and then if you ask another day I may say Abigail, Grace, Lindsay, Emily. As far as the boy names go; I really think I like Joseph David the most and then Caleb is second and Grant or Grady (which I used to like, then stopped liking and now I am starting to like again) would be tied for third.

Names are hard. We want to use something that is cute for a little boy or girl, but also is a nice name for an adult. I like the name Maddox is really cool, but I think it is a name that is great for a little boy but it might not be so great for a grown man. If you want a little history behind some of the names….here you go….

- Emily – a little random, but Sara (Jennifer’s niece came up with this one)
- Lindsay – a last name from Jennifer’s mom’s family.
- Abigail – a name Jennifer has grown to love.
- Grace – a name I love
- Joseph David – Jennifer’s dad is Guy Joseph and my dad is David Franklin (I would call him J.D. if we used this name)
- Caleb – a name Jennifer likes
- Grady – a name of one of Jennifer’s grandfathers.
- Grant – which is my Mom’s maiden name and my brother’s name
