Names Names Names

Jennifer and I decided back before we even started trying to get pregnant that we would tell everyone the sex of the baby and the name as soon as we knew. Why? Well, I like the idea of calling the baby by his/her name and not just saying "the baby." So, it is going to be another 2 1/2 months before we find out what the baby is, but we are always talking about names. Because of this, I have decided we must be having a girl - it is going to happen! I say that because when we talk about girl names, we only have a handful (3-4) names that we like. When we talk about boy names, well, lets just say that we have not found a happy medium yet.

With boy names there are too many things to consider. What is the name? What will he be called? What will his friends call him? Do I like the possible nicknames? Is that a name that sounds good for a boy but not good for a man? These are all things that make picking out boy names complicated.

I guess we could stop thinking about names until we know what the baby is, but what fun would that be?
